Made from 100% Yamadanishiki sake rice from Hyogo prefecture. Yamadanishiki is a very popular sake rice used in the production of especially aromatic Daiginjo sakes. This sake has beautiful aromas of fresh peach or strawberry with very mild rice aromas like soft marshmallows. Most of Yamadanishiki Daiginjo sake is pricey, but Nanbu Bijin Shinpaku is very reasonable. You can enjoy as an aperitif or also with main courses.

This sake is aged 10 years in a Tobin glass bottle in the refrigerator. The sake was brewed by former master Toji, Hajime Yamaguchi, who was one of the highest regarded master brewers of all Japan. Hajime-San passed away in 2010, leaving his legacy behind in this truly unique sake. Very juicy and extremely silky in texture, it has an amazing sweet, fruity aroma like fresh Japanese peach or apple.  Well-balanced, clean, and smooth, its master craftsmanship you would recognize easily with one sip.

A beautiful sake that you can drink every day! This is Nanbu Bijin's signature sake.  Tokubetsu Junmai is made with local Iwate Ginotome sake rice, milled down to 55%, which is actually Junmai Ginjo quality. The flavor is like a farm fresh, juicy orange. The beautiful butterfly on the label makes this sake a great gift too! Recommend serving temperature: chilled or warm.

Usually, Umeshu (plum sake) has lots of sugar added, but Nanbu Bijin Umeshu infuses only ume plums in unique "all koji" Junmai Sake. Sugar is not needed, since plums and koji rice are naturally sweet.  This sake is easy to drink and pairs well with any meal.

Usually, sake is made from 80% steamed sake rice and 20% Koji rice, but this sake, "All Koji" is made from 100% Koji rice.
